Michael Clowers Biography
Michael Clowers is the former director and choreographer of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. As the choreographer and director for the Radio City Rockettes in New York City his responsibilities included casting the world famous line and maintaining their world renowned precision.
Michael is a Broadway veteran who’s Broadway credits include the Tony Award winning revival of “42nd Street”, ‘Beauty and the Beast”, and the critically acclaimed “Side Show”.
Micheal’s projects are all over the world. He travels the globe to cast and find talent for “Cats” the musical, tavels the US teaching convention dance workshops for many dance organizations and works as a director and choreographer for Royal Caribbean Productions. He is also the director for the stage production of “Step Up, All In”, based on the Step Up franchise, currently playing in Dubai.
Michael’s choreography has been seen on The Great Stage at Radio City Music Hall, The Tournament of Roses Parade, The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and on the largest cruse ship in the world.
Michael choreographed “Glorioso” in Manaus, Brazil with a cast of 4500 dancers, singers, and actors. The show was performed on four stages around and in The Teatra Amazonas and broadcast live on Amazon Sat.
Some of Michael’s other performing credits include The River North Dance Company, The Radio City Spring Spectacular, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. The Radio City Easter Spectacular, Tokyo Disneyland, Carrowinds, Six Flags, Opryland USA, a series regular on “Countdown at the Neon Armidillo” produced by Buena Vista Television, summer stock at Casa Manana and Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, and 7 years as a Kid of the Kingdom at Walt Disney World,
